A new study using FITC dextran 2000 in antibody purification

Journal of Chromatography has recently published a new study on IgG purification optimisation. The study employs protein A agarose beads for purification of the antibodies and focuses on changes in pore and filament diameters due to adsorption.

The authors have used flourescein isothiocyanate-dextran (FITC-dextran) of 2000 kDa from TdB Labs in their study and report a dramatic pore diameter reduction, suggesting a geometrical model to predict IgG diffusion.
