Early detection of thrombotic events remains a big medical challenge today. Dextran-based submicronic particles bearing Gd(DOTA) groups have been recently assessed for their potential as an MRI diagnostic platform for atherothrombosis, and the results are now pre-published in Carbohydrate Polymers.
The authors have been using FITC-dextran and TRITC-dextran from TdB Labs in their experiment, and we are proud to follow the great success of this project.
