The fluorophores FITC/TRITC/AR have an excitation maximum of 493/550/585 nm and an emission maximum of 517/575/600 nm.

Derivatives
We offer the following products; FITC-TRITC-dextran 500 and FITC-AR-dextran 20.

Applications
The fluorescence (as well as the absorbance) of FITC is highly dependent on pH while that of TRITC and AR remains nearly unchanged between pH 2 and 10. This makes FTD500 and FARD20 highly suitable for applications that allow accurate determination and monitoring of pH in living cells or tissues at a wide range of pH spanning from 3.5 to 8.0. Dual fluorescent labeled dextrans thus serve as invaluable products for intravital microscopy.
