ATTO488-lysine dextran 10 is manufactured by reacting a selected dextran fraction with an ATTO488 derivative. The product is purified from reagents, solvents and by-products.. The fluorophore ATTO488 displays strong absorption, high quantum yield and photo-stability. TdB labs produce ATTO488-lysine-dextran with a molecular weight of 4 and 10 kDa.

ATTO488-dextran is synthesised from well-characterised dextran fractions derived from Leuconostoc mesenteroides via the succinimidyl-derivative of ATTO488. The degree of substitution is between 0.001-0.008.
ATTO488-dextran has an absorbance maximum at 502nm (in borate buffer, pH 9.0) and an emission wavelength of 524 nm.
Storage and stability
ATTO488-lysibedextran is stable for more than 6 years when stored dry in well-sealed containers at ambient temperature.
ATTO488-lysine-dextran dissolves readily in water.
