Structure
ATTO488-dextran is synthesised from well-characterised dextran fractions derived from Leuconostoc mesenteroides via the succinimidyl-derivative of ATTO488. The degree of substitution is between 0.001-0.008.

ATTO488-dextran has an absorbance maximum at 502nm (in borate buffer, pH 9.0) and an emission wavelength of 524 nm.
Storage and stability
ATTO488-lysibedextran is stable for more than 6 years when stored dry in well-sealed containers at ambient temperature.
Solubility
ATTO488-lysine-dextran dissolves readily in water.
