Structure
ATTO647n-dextran is synthesised from well-characterised dextran fractions derived from Leuconostoc mesenteroides labelled with lysine. Lysine-dextran is then functionalised with ATTO647n under mild conditions to form ATTO647n-lysine-dextran. The degree of substitution of lysine is between 0.01-0.02 and 0.001-0.01 for ATTO647n.
Spectral data
ATTO647N-dextran has an absorbance maximum at 646 nm and an emission wavelength of 664 nm (pH 7.4).
Storage and stability
ATTO647N-lysibedextran is stable for more than 6 years when stored dry in well-sealed containers at ambient temperature.
Solubility
ATTO647N-lysine-dextran dissolves readily in water.
Application
ATTO647n-lysine-dextran provides tools for bioconjugation and fixation. The dye is suitable for single-molecule detection and high-resolution microscopy. Read more about applications here.
